The Ayu Teak Wood Salad Bowl brings warmth, beauty, and everyday function to your table — a handmade piece of affordable teak kitchenware with timeless bohemian style.

Carved by hand in India from ethically sourced teak, this bowl showcases the natural beauty of wood grain, with swirling golden and dark tones that make each piece one-of-a-kind. Its smooth finish and durable construction make it perfect for tossing salads, serving roasted vegetables, or presenting fruit in the center of your table.

Because it’s made from solid teak, this bowl is not only sturdy but also naturally resistant to wear, ensuring it will remain a favorite for years. With simple care — including hand washing and oiling to maintain its longevity — your Ayu Bowl will retain its warm, glowing finish.

Style it alongside the Surya Teak Wood Salad Bowl for a layered table setting, or pair it with the Teak Wood Tongs and Teak Wood Spoon for effortless serving. For a full boho-inspired spread, add the Rectangular Teak Wood Platter and Teak Wood Dipping Dish. You can also explore more inspiration in our Dining Collection, add warmth with Bohemian Home Decor, and finish your space with Bohemian Home Accents.

For lovers of bohemian kitchen decor, handmade wooden kitchenware, and ethically crafted design, the Ayu Teak Wood Salad Bowl is a versatile piece that turns everyday meals into moments of beauty.

Since much of our clothing is hand-made in countries with different methods of sizing, it is important to note the measurements listed below each item on the individual product pages. We have taken extra care to provide you with the most accurate measurements possible by measuring all items ourselves before they are put up on our website. Please refer to our Size Guide for more information.

"One Size" means that the item only comes in one size, unfortunately it's not always the case that it will fit everyone. When ordering a one size item be sure to check the measurements provided below the item's description. If you're still not sure, please feel free to send us an email!

If you would like to change or add something to your order after you have placed it, please send us an email at customerservice@mexicaliblues.com. Since we do our best to get orders shipped out as quickly as possible, please contact us as soon as you can!

Mexicali Blues started in 1988, born of a love of travel and a mindful devotion to fun. In the beginning most of our wares consisted of handwoven Mexican baskets and handicrafts, as well as Grateful Dead merchandise. The name was suggested by our founder Pete Erskine's brother, as inspired by the Grateful Dead song (Mexicali Blues). Since then, Mexicali Blues has become more than just a name, it is a brand, an identity, and a lifestyle. We now responsibly import clothing, jewelry, and home decor from eight different countries, not just Mexico, but our name stuck and hey, we like it that way. Learn more about our history here ✌️
