TREKKING THROUGH NEPAL TO SPREAD A WORLD OF GOODS: PETE’S PERSPECTIVE

May 15, 2017

Joining forces with the dZi Foundation, Pete, Kim, and Chauncey Erskine just visited the under-construction earthquake-proof school your Mexicali purchases have helped to fund. It was a beautiful adventure, and we were so happy that we got to spend time with the awesome dZi crew, the kids and community in the small mountain village of Sotang, and all the other wonderful people we met along the way!  Check out this video, in which Pete transports you to the foothills of the Himalaya and talks about the seeing the great work that the dZi foundation is doing there, in person. Pete also recounts the sketchy roads and days of trekking it took to get the remote part of the Solokhumbu where the school is being built.

Get a closer look at the photos from the trip right here.

Check out Chauncey’s travel diaries here.
