The students of Rok, Solukhumbu live a day’s walk from the nearest road and a two-day walk from any kind of medical care. They are a resilient, self-reliant people, but almost a third of the structures in their community were destroyed by the 2015 earthquake. Their children have been without a school for years and the lack of a safe learning space can set a village back for generations. Working with the dZi Foundation, we started a fundraiser to build a new school and thanks to YOU, we’ve finally done it!
