Happy #GivingTuesday! #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

This year, Mexicali Blues is teaming up with dZi Foundation for this wonderful day of giving! With a dollar to dollar match, our goal is to raise the remaining funds so that we can complete the earthquake-proof Janajagriti School in Rok, Nepal. We’re nearly halfway there, and we will match every single dollar donated, so your donations will go twice as far!

Community members of Rok have demolished the old school that was destroyed during the earthquakes. The school was deemed too unsafe to continue classes in, and for the past two years, these students have been studying in a temporary classroom.
