Light.
Have you ever noticed how Light has different qualities, different effects? Of course you have. Sunlight is different from the light of the silvery moon and starlight is not the same as the light in the grocery store. Strobe lights and candlelight. Morning light and twilight.
You may not realize, though, that the light cast by the moon in Libra is different from the light radiating from a moon in Aries or that the Sun's rays are very different after the Spring Equinox. As it strikes the Earth's atmosphere at different angles, it has varying effects.
And, of course, light carries information. Some say even wisdom.
We begin this week with Easter Sunday. This year Easter falls on the 17th of April.
Why?
Easter is always the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. It's the last of the Christian holy days still determined by cosmic cycles. Ramadan is at this time as is Passover and many other sacred celebrations throughout cultures and history.
There is something changing in the qualities of the Light.
Aries light refreshes, awakens impulses and sparks the life forces anew. The full moon we just had in Libra is still bathing the Earth with a radiance that nourishes balance and harmony in relationships and will continue to do so till the next new moon on April 30th.
Monday the 18th, the Moon has moved into Scorpio's domain and will conjunct the South Node at 22 degrees. This is an opportunity to allow deep or concealed feelings to rise up to conscious awareness and heal past wounds and patterns.
Find space in your day to go inward and let the process move through you. Blocking this release will clog the system which my cause an unexpected explosion. 🙀
Tuesday the moon will be in Sagittarius and your sense of humor will return.
The entire week is colored by the Sun at the final degrees of Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn. One would expect to experience a struggle of wills, both personally and on the global stage. Usually the last few degrees of a sign are pressurized and an impulsive Aries will up against the destructive aspect of Pluto is a concern here.
However, a solar will in fire can initiate new power structures and since we are still under the influence of the Libra full moon, peace and balance can be sought.
On Wednesday the Sun enters beautiful, Venus-ruled Taurus. And where is Aphrodite? She's come into the sweet, soft home of Pisces where she gathers strength and grandeur as she joins the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction. This is Venus in all her radiance, calling for love, compassion and spiritual expansion!
The three planets will trine the south Node on Saturday, bringing spiritual wisdom and the touch of love to the karmic challenges we face.
Simply turn your face to the Sun. Wisdom lives in the light!
