Position Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Retail Sales Associates for our Bangor location. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of Mexicali Blues, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining the store environment, and upholding our brand values. The ideal candidate will have a "glass half full" attitude, a passion for customer service, and a love for unique, globally inspired products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent and promote the Mexicali Blues brand with positivity and enthusiasm.
• Greet and engage with customers, offering product information and assisting with purchases.
• Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
• Assist with theft prevention and ensure the store remains a secure and safe space.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including managing dressing rooms.
• Participate in store meetings and contribute to the overall team dynamic.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service orientation with a "glass half full" attitude.
• Comfortable with technology, including point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for 6-8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Work Schedule:

• Shifts are available Monday through Sunday, including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
• Shifts may include holidays and cover store opening to closing times.
• Part-time seasonal positions (expected hours: 15–35 per week).

Future Opportunities:

• Seasonal positions run from November through early January. However, working as a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate is a great way to be considered for future positions with Mexicali Blues. Many of our full-time team members started in seasonal roles!
