Bangor is so much fun (and a little bit frenzied) on Thursdays in the summertime, with music and merriment filling the streets as revelers boogie down at the free shows of the Cool Sounds Concert Series and get ready for the latest Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion concert. Jimmy Buffet and his parrothead posse will be rocking the Waterfront later in the evening, so take a break from preparatory margaritas and dancing at our signature summertime oasis! For our final Oasis yurt of Summer 2016, we’re pitching one of Caleb Erskine’s bright and breezy Living Intent yurts at our store right in Downtown Bangor and filling the airy, serene space with FREE fun activities for mind, body and soul. Escape the bustling foot-traffic and explore henna tattoos, hula hooping, and more at Mexicali Blues.

This will be our last Oasis Yurt event for the summer, but come see us at the Hidden Valley Nature Center Live Edge Music Festival this Saturday, August 21, where we’ll be getting our groove on and rocking the radical rainbow awesomeness of the Tie Dye Mobile! Tickets are still available, and there are two ways to get them:
1. Buy tickets at Mexicali Blues in Newcastle or any of these other partner/sponsor locations: Sheepscot General Store, the Alna Store, HVNC and Midcoast Conservancy’s office in Wiscasset.
