The Magic this week is riding with the Moon as she carries forward the messages of her Full Moon last week in her domicile, Cancer.
She showers those qualities of nurturing and feelings of safety as she moves in and out of aspect with the planets. As a major luminary, the Moon is in her disseminating phase till Tuesday when, in Scorpio, she hits the third quarter square.
This third quarter square is asking us to integrate the wisdom of the Cancer/Capricorn axis. One of the challenges here is to stand in ones sovereignty without losing compassion for others. It is to nurture oneself while still being effective in the world.
Cancer/Capricorn is the axis that references femininity and masculinity. We are also given the challenge of honoring and blending both, within ourselves and others.
But, the planets are cooking up much more magic this week. On Sunday, retrograde Mercury will melt down at the heart of the Sun at 3 degrees of Aquarius. Communication with authority figures may just fizzle. Stay heart centered and try again next week.
Aquarians, or those with Virgo or Gemini rising, your thoughts may be fired up! Be sure to "read the room" before expressing them or there might be some ruffled feathers.
While in Scorpio, La Luna will come into an opposition to Uranus in Taurus. One possibility is sudden erratic emotional outbursts. Or deep intensity can be released in a project to do something positive for Mother Earth. If you haven't been composting, this is a great time to begin!
On Thursday, the Moon ingresses into Sagittarius and feelings can become more bouyant and hopeful if not snagged by the square to Jupiter in Pisces, which could amplify feelings disproportionately. Enjoy the sweetness of Pisces and trust in the future instead.
On Saturday, the Moon will join with Venus and they'll have a feast together in Capricorn, enjoying their accomplishments in art and love, connection and self care.
What a delish finish to the week!
