I normally wear a large, but based on one of the reviews it stated some shrinking. So I decided to get the xl. I actually loved the oversized fit of the xl and the material is very soft. But when I washed them they shrank quite a bit. I don't mind the length so much, but it shrunk more than just a little towards the middle and the bum. Basically it shrank overall.
