It’s a full moon in Gemini tonight, and this Mercurial messenger of the mind is a busy whizzing bee of thoughts and perceptions in opposition to the sun in Sagittarius. Gemini and Sagittarius are both focused on learning and growing with new knowledge, but while quick and curious Gemini loves to gather information, Sagittarius is always seeking the Truth and so is far more interested the meaning behind the information.
The Sagittarian sun makes us desirous to connect with our personal Truth, something deep and resonant that is a constant guide, but we’re looking through the lens of speedy Gemini and might be prone to distraction, disarray, and feeling like you’ve suddenly been tipped off-kilter. You might experience frequent changes of mind and heart where you feel completely committed to one idea in the moment, only to have it flip to its equally-as-passionate polar opposite. Not helping that intoxicated feeling is the addition of Dreamy Neptune in square tension with these two signs. Illusion might be particularly appealing to indulge in right now and imagination ultra-vivid, so enjoy the fantasy but don’t get carried away. There’s a good chance that, if you’re applying that magical thinking to real life, you are filling in some of the unknown elements with your own hopes or assumptions. Dreams should be very interesting right now! Don’t make any big declarations or decisions today or through the weekend. If you actually get intoxicated, you might say more than you meant to. Next week things should be more clear.
You can find inspiration during this full moon by looking to or for your purpose or personal quest, and considering how all the information you have gathered so far can support you in getting there. Think about travel (on the mental, physical, and spiritual planes), where you might like to go, and what sort of energies or emotions you hope to find or embody there. Set intention to surround yourself with more of that in the here and now!
