ECO-FRIENDLY GIFT WRAPPING: BLOCK PRINT STAMPS & RECYCLED PAPER BAG
Using a recycled paper bag, craft paint, and block print stamps, we made some eco-friendly gift wrapping that is way cuter than the classic recycled wrapping of plain newspaper! Check out the photos below to see how you can DIY this easy project!
Supplies: recycled paper bag or box, recycled yarn, craft paint, block print stamps, brayer (optional)
Cut a paper bag open and turn inside-out so any store logos aren’t showing. Then use this paper to wrap your present.
We rolled out some paint on a second paper bag that we were using as our “palette”. This is an optional step, but can help create a thinner layer of paint to stamp from.
Dip!
Stamp!
Stamp!
TIP: Try tapping the top of the stamp with something else (we used a piece of wood) for a crisper stamp.
Stamp, stamp, stamp!
Stamp, stamp! Try making patterns out of your stamped shapes.
Looking good!
We’ve got giant stamps, too!
Tie it up with some recycled yarn.
What a fabulous eco-friendly wrapping!
Earth-friendly wrapping WIN!
