Monday marks the night of the Cancer new moon which will be opposite Saturn in the night sky. As we know, the new moon marks the beginning of a new cycle. We’ve all gone through so much in the past moon cycle and it is important to be born into this one with new or continued purpose. Stay focused on your goals whether you aim to make change or rest your being for the challenges ahead.
Saturn has the most impact on our shy celestial beauty this month because it is facing the moon head on, as you can see in the chart above. You may experience limitations and restrictions keeping you from achieving your true goal. Don’t be fooled by your own internal monologue saying it can’t be achieved and remember that we are usually our own worst enemy when it comes to self doubt. Rise above that authoritative voice and seek the support you need.
We understand that the ebb and flow of not only your personal agenda but that of society can be draining. We’d like to revisit our reading from the last full moon and again emphasize the importance of taking care of you and yours. By doing this you can also help bring peace to those around you.
There are parts of this universe that can still be celebrated and we urge you to seek out those moments. A sunset by the lake or a quiet meditation can help you to focus on your thoughts and true desires. Investing your time in a project you can accomplish on your own might be just the confidence boost or drive you are looking for.
We will be supported by the fixed star Procyon this cycle for it can influence our ability to take action on thoughts that may have been swimming around our subconsciousness. Be wary though, if too much energy is focused from this star it can lead us to take action without a plan. Do not give into impulsive behavior under the new moon and instead wait for the evening glow to come back to our night sky.
Tune back in next month for insight into the August full moon!
